Very, very good seafood lunch. You pay a fixed price of 50€ and get a fixed menu course including water (still or sparkling), a carafe of wine and five amuse gueles, three antipasti, spaghetti alla chitarra, fritura mista, sorbet and two small cakes plus coffee. We had to walk for a while after that since it was so much.
Make a reservation or come early. You eat the full two hours they are open at lunchtime.

This came as a big surprise to me. I had no idea places like this existed. It was great. Everything was wobbly, made of planks held together with rope. The shade and breeze kept us cool. No menu, just course after course of seafood and pasta. Far too much to actually eat. The quality of the food wasn't that great but it was acceptable and the staff were really nice. There are other, similar establishments along the coast, some more shabby, some more posh. But this one's just right. Theres no rush either. Spend a few hours there. Make sure you are hungry when you arrive. And if you are afraid of sitting above water on wobbly scaffolding, get someone else to dive, and drink more wine. Book in advance - it's popular!
If you like to eat fish, this place is fantastic! Really nice owner who knows how to please his guests, the food is honest, fresh, and good, the ambiance is fantastic! Absolutely recommend this place.... We'll be back Marino!
Lovely place you can stumble upon while walking the so-called green road of the Costa dei Trabocchi. It is an old trabocco (ancient fishing machines now mostly concerted into restaurants) renewed several years ago by the owner (Marino), his family, and friends. The place now is a restaurant but it preserved its ancient charm and structure (while similar places overextended their structure to accommodate more guests). The cuisine is genuine and family run with fixed (as far as I recall) menù. Lovely place to have a wonderful day or evening with family, friends or your beloved. Highly recommend. Reservation is kind of necessary.
